Information you give us
When you use our contact form we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, organisation and message. We use this only to reply to your enquiry, to discuss a project, internship or collaboration you asked about, and to keep a record of our correspondence.
Website assistant (chat)
The chat assistant runs entirely in your browser. Your conversation is kept only in your browser tab (it is cleared when you close the tab or start a new chat) and is not sent to us or to any third party. If you choose to send an enquiry through the assistant, it reaches us by email like the contact form. Please don’t share passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in the chat.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request) for security and troubleshooting. To protect the contact form from abuse, we temporarily store a one-way hash of your IP address for up to 10 minutes. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your theme preference is stored only in your own browser.
Third-party services
- Google Maps — loaded only if you click “Show map”, after which Google’s privacy policy applies.
- WhatsApp and Zenodo — only if you follow links to those services.
Fonts are hosted on our own server, so no font requests are sent to third parties.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only when required by law or with service providers (such as our email and hosting providers) who help us run this website.
Retention
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business records, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing research@sols-ai.com.
